in January, 2001 and has lively broadcasted global news for 24 hours
by interpreting CNN news, a global media. CNN Korean news is a Korean
version of official CNN news, one of five official CNN news, and provides
breaking news of each area by professionally interpreting into Korean
language and also strives to produce appropriate multimedia special site
in order to satisfy the needs of readers for information.

‘Japanese Site’, Multilingual Web service of JoongAng Ilbo’
Japanese site of JoongAng Ilbo, which was launched as one of
multilingual web services of JoongAng Ilbo in 2000, has provided press
releases and news to Mixi (www.mixi.jp), the largest SNS site in
Japan, and Livedoor (www. livedoor.com), which is a portal site
currently merged by NHN. To respond to the Japanese environment
which is strong in website and mobile as well, it launches official sites
in terminals of three mobile companies in Japan (NTT-docomo, au,
Softbank) in 2008 so that it has played a pivotal role in heightening the
position of JoongAng Ilbo in Japan. The Japanese site of JoongAng Ilbo
will help Korea and Japan to understand and communicate each other
with various contents of JMnet.
